Amazing space, incredible shoot and honoured to join Tom Oldham on the epic ‘the longest day’ shoot at the London Aquatics Centre.

This inspired building hosted events for the 2012 Summer Olympics and the 2012 Summer Paralympics. The facility has two 50-metre swimming pools and a 25-metre diving pool… all housed in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park at Stratford, London.

Designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Zaha Hadid in 2004 before London won the bid for the 2012 Summer Olympics, it has to be one of the most epic venues for a shoot, and if you’ve never been, then we urge you to jump on a train,cycle over and take a look.

After attaching safety harnesses and heading up to the top of the diving platform, the view and the scene was set for Tom to get some incredible shots of three divers from the academy for the project, whilst or man Cairon, rolled the cameras for our film we’ll let you decide on the outcome.. Inspired!
