The Longest Day is a project conceived by our old mate Tom Oldham, when we first heard him mention it we thought he was bonkers…but after many phone calls, emails and general to and fro, its finally here. Tom set himself the ambitious task of taking 24 portraits in 24hrs in East London, all shot on the longest day. All the action is captured here in our short film, as they say in cockney slang… have a gander!

The project is being shown at the London design festival this September, with a preview of the prints published in a free newspaper which is dedicated to all the participants and great people of East London who helped make the project. The papers will be handed out at Shoreditch and Hoxton tube stations early this morning to commuters and creative types, so if your reading this, then your probably one of those lucky few.. special, ain’t they?
